Brookland Valley - Winery of the Year

In his 2009 Wine Companion  James Halliday has given his Winery of the Year award to Brookland Valley a boutique producer now owned by Constellation in the Margaret River. No less than 4 wines achieved Gold Medal rankings from the Brookland Valley Verse 1 range. Included in this range are the Chardonnay, Cabernet Merlot, Shiraz, Semillon Sauvignon Blanc and Rose.

These wines are available for a limited time only online for $13.00 each or $156 per dozen. Order by going to the variety on the order menu. Minimum order is one dozen but they can be mixed. Freight can be arranged by Registered Mail with Australian Post. Rates to Sydney are $15 per carton of 12. 

Houghton The Bandit - New releases from Houghtons

Inspired by the infamous WA bushragners Moondyne Joe who was apprended at the Houghton's winery cellars in 1869 by invited guests - some thirsty police officers. The Bandit range in an inspiring range of daring blends that bring back the memory of that daring attempt to rob the Houghton winery. There are three blends in the range as follows: -

• The Bandit Sauvignon Blanc Pinot Gris - Aromas of Lychee, Guava and Passionfruit combined with mouthfilling pear, apple and lemon ctrus.
• The Bandit Chardonnay Viognier - Aromas of orange blossum, apricot and lemon with a apricot, lemon, peach and melon characters.
• The Bandit Shiraz Tempranillo - Aromas of blacberry and cherry accompanied by lingering chocolate box characters.

 All wines are $13.00 each or $156 for a dozen buy.
